QOTD

I'm thinking about places Rob and I can go on our honeymoon...it's something I want to do. Does anyone have any suggestions? If you've gone on one, where did you go? We're getting married 10/10/10. We'll probably do the honeymoon until spring of 2011.

So far, I thought about Bath, England and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

(Please pimp this around your friends list because I want a good response to this Thank you!)

We went to Home Depot to get a long table to use as a double computer desk. :P Verrrrrrrry romantic!

The Alabama Gulf Coast is quite lovely, but not very exotic. :D

I think England is an excellent choice. It's the only place I've visited outside the US.

We went to Niagara Falls, "the honeymoon capital of the world." If you've never seen it, that's a great destination to consider.

We went to Moorea, the sister island of Tahiti. It's not cheap (particularly these days), but boy oh boy was it fantastic. Truly a dream vacation.

Just don't try the outrigger canoes (that's a story for another day).

First: Congrats!!

Next: I'd strongly recommend an all-inclusive, like Club Med. It's so much nicer to let someone else deal with all the details, and offer plenty of fun activities with appropriate safety considerations.

Finally: Bermuda is closer than Puerto Rico, but, yeah, pretty much anywhere in the Caribbean is gonna be warmer than here. :-)

We went to Europe for 2 weeks. Started in London, flew to Prague, train to Krakow and then train to Budapest. Unbelievably wonderful! We did it on the cheap...hostels and the like, but it was an awesome experience.

If you go to my entries from April 2, 2007...and a few days after that...those are my posts about the trip if you're curious about what we did :)

This. Bath on its own would probably wear thin after a few days, travel around a bit.

We went to the Shenendoah Valley and stayed in a Bed & Breakfast for two reasons:

1) It was easy to get to.

2) We got more bang for our buck, so we could stay longer and live in more luxurious places.

It's all about what you want on your trip. =)
